11:20 am - diet time changes.

okay, been eating awesomely healthy for two days now, this being the third.
but as much as i wanted to start running today, i went to bed with the realization that i just don't own the right pair of shoes for the thing so im off to wal mart or payless tonight after work and picking up a cheap pair, some sweats and a cheap watch. and tomorrow morning will start with running before work.

03:53 am - decided to change my life a bit

Started a diet today and I am swearing off sugar/sweets/soda (except club soda with lemon or lime). Along with fatty foods/ fried foods/ obvious bad stuff.

Had a twelve peice sushi lunch and some fresh fruit. Dinner was a grilled chicken salad with mozzarella no dressing. it was delicious.

starting Monday morning and every morning except sunday and day off of work, at least 4 laps around my block before work.
Once I fall into the groove, no more driving to and from work. gonna walk/run, got to take advantage of the nice weather.
I want to see just what I can do for myself on my own steam before thinking about a gym.
I have recently had more and more people around me tell me that they are seeing a difference in my apperance and that is a real boost for motivating me to do this.
And for super serious, another thing that motivated me, a movie.
"Run Fatboy Run"

01:07 am - post Rochester post

The whole trip ended up to be surprisingly better than I thought it would be. We were treated like rock stars the entire weekend from after the first set till we left.
The drive up was cool with lightning over the skies in the night and we woke and had breakfast to notice we were next to the most villainous looking building.
anyways.
Highlights-
Glass walking routine was a huge success to my surprise. I fed off the rush of being up there which fueled me to do glass hopping and stomping and face washing. After the thing, i ended up with a few little nicks on my feet. no biggie at all.
Regina and I redid "Beat Me" which got a great response and we did a new one called "Toes" which people could not stop saying how awesome our chemistry for that number was. it was fun and was well accepted. We were the headline for the dinner on Saturday night which was cool as fuck, with a catwalk and everything. "Sugar In My Coffin" went smoothly and I got much praise for it along with how "A.M. 180" went. all of us apparently put a man into tears of how good we were from his experience as a doctor in the field of performance and theatre art for over 40 years. that says a lot about us and how all of us bring our own thing to the table to make our shows such an enjoyable experience due to it's variety.
dinner was awesome and we ended the night with Apples to Apples.
The breakfast buffet the next morning was bangin with awesome foods and the best part was that Sunday was pretty laid back for me for I only had my traps routine to do later in the afternoon.
the event ended and they can't wait to have us back already!
the drive home consisted of listing to the George Martin cd of beatles covers which is just cool as hell. and finding out that Apple Annies Diner was a) closed and b) full of rapists.....we ended up at Applebee's instead. and that part of the ride home had me laughing like nobody's business.
we got back around 2-30ish and I took George home and Regina to her home and I got back and into my bed a little after 5 a.m. with work at 12.

Ellory was allowed to tape my glass walking routine so as soon as i get ear that it's posted, you can be sure to catch it on an upcoming update.

10:58 pm - Suggestions welcomed/needed for routine.

does it suck that I really don't have the ideal playing feild or area to practice my fire eating and breathing? yeah, for the most part. that is, when i'm using fire at that time. So i figure, hell, why not still practice by going cold. (do routine and plan one out without the main element.

So I didn't really want to take the cheesey way out and use a song that has to do with fire. for instance, Angelica's act takes my breath away every time i ever got the chance to see it and her song was "Blue Angel" from the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
This past saturday, I went to alumni weekend at Sideshows by the Seashore and got to meet and talk to and watch Tyler Fyre. One of the coolest things, his song, "Dark Night" by The Blasters. You all have heard it if you ever watched the opening to "Dusk Till Dawn"
I really wanted to go with something classy sounding like Angelica for the laid back look of a routine but at the same time, the ruggedness and edge that Tyler has with his routine is mind blowing.

I, as of now am thinking of doing a routine to "Fire" by Hendrix. But I am all for new suggestions. Anybody have an idea? inquiring inquirerers want to know.

Published in the Star-Ledger on 4/6/2009

He was buried the morning of April 8th, 2009.
He was sent off in formal military style.
He was escorted through Newark and passed by 157 Garside St.
He was the greatest hide and seek player I ever knew. That would be my own special memory of him.

It snowed before and after the time spent in the cemetery. Not during.

For my friends that read my lj. I have decided to take some time out of Rocky for myself over this. This saturday's zombie night will be my last show until after the Convention in Cincinnati.
